Ok I had a debate with my tutor about this artist; I was very negative in my view. Since then I went out my way to find out as much as I could about her, reading, watching her interviews and looking at her work she has produced. I was not hugely inspired by her at first, but since my research I have to admit that there is something about her work that draws you in, also her ideas behind her work is also very interesting, Emin's persona veers in the opposite direction in a lot of my views but you have to admit very Few female artists have achieved so much fame and wealth in their day, and for that alone I have to say, she is someone I will follow and look to in the future… ps you was right I was deeply wrong with my previous view.
