i found this pretty enjoyable, seeing that its the subject i was least looking forward to.

we did to main pieces today,

1/ using a overhead projector we focused on lines, marks and patterns of a piece and transfered them to our paper. this was done a number of times, overlapping marks etc creating what appeared to me as a very abstracted piece using charcoals, ink, colour pencils, etc..  I believe we are to continue with this one Wednesday and upload a few photos there after.

2/ using tracing paper, again we fucused on marks, pattern lines etc in the studio, again using different pens, pencils, tape, etc. once we had do this a few times, we placed them together and photocopied them to see the layered effects, some people scanned their piece in and photo shopped them, like i did.
